Chester Zoo gets busy!

Last month was the busiest April at Chester Zoo in 20 years, welcoming 187,394 visitors through it's gates.

Chester Zoo has been exceeding it's targets every month since September last year. Sharon Leeson, Head of Marketing and Development said:

"Our figures for 2007 have been consistently high and these flourishing numbers prove that Chester Zoo is more popular than ever. We are 34% up on our visitor figures for the same time last year and well on course to achieve our target of 1,112,000 visitors for the year."
