Great deal for groups at Chester Zoo

Excellent deals being offered are for those who are looking for a fun day out at Chester Zoo this autumn. For organisers, who wish to make a group booking for Chester Zoo, it is very easy to make a booking on line. The new online booking system has proved extremely popular, contributing to the record-breaking success this year - with group visits up and 92,000 group visitors making their way to the Zoo.

The introduction of off-peak group rates, which come into effect on October 29, will also prove to be an added incentive for group visitors.

The Zoo's Tourism Coordinator, Julie Benn, said: “We are enjoying a bumper year for group visitors and our new online booking system seems to be proving popular with group organisers with many more groups paying in advance of their visit ...A group can be made up of any party with 15 or more people and with our Frost Fair extravaganza just around the corner, we are looking forward to welcoming many more visitors.”

The two-month Frost Fair event in the grounds of Chester Zoo grounds will provide the perfect place to chill out from November 16 with entertainment, animation, costume characters and more... Retail and catering stalls will be selling festive produce and gifts and the area will be festooned with magical decorations and lights and, to further enhance the festive mood, a 20ft Christmas tree.

The Elephants of the Asian Forest exhibit will remain open for the duration of the Frost Fair, which starts on November 16 and runs until January 13 next year.
