Chester Zoo Deals for 2008

Look out for the great deals in 2008 at Chester Zoo.

The zoo will open new attractions including a cheetah exhibit and butterfly house.

Last year was a record-breaking 12 months for groups visiting at Chester Zoo. The Zoo is always popular for a fantastic family day out and this year there was a 58% surge in the number of people visiting as a group.

Tourism Co-ordinator Julie Benn said: “More than 116,000 people visited the zoo as part of a group last year – that represents another record in a year which saw us welcome more than 1.2 million visitors. The success of group visits has been such that we have decided to keep the group rates the same this year. We hope people will visit our stand at the Great Days Out Fair where they can pick up our new literature and find out what else we have in store for groups over the coming months.”

Group admission applies to parties of 15 people or more. Coach drivers for group trips are admitted free and receive a free meal.

In 2008 Chester zoo has frozen its group rates. The 110-acre, award-winning zoo will launch its new groups’ brochure at the Great Days Out Fair at Bolton’s Reebok Stadium on February 2.
