African Safari Evening at Chester Zoo

On Saturday 16th August Chester Zoo will be open later than usual as part of the Lazy Summer Evenings events.

You can take part in an African Safari experience at Chester Zoo this summer. On Saturday 16th August the Zoo will remain open until 9.30pm with several of the animal houses including the Tropical Realm, RORA, Elephants and Monkey enclosures open until 9pm.

Visitors to the Zoo after 3pm will receive half price entry and there's plenty to keep you occupied until the sun goes down. Take the kids to have their faces painted (yours too if you like) on the Ark Lawn before taking in a Zulu Warrior display with dancing and a workshop at 5pm. There's even an African themed barbecue available from the Acorn Bar and an African animal trail that the whole family will love.
